After hearing about this movie for weeks and getting turned away twice from the movie, I finally saw Paranormal Activity last night. Let's just say the movie didn't live up to the hype. Maybe because the movie was all fictitious, but maybe not.

The movie centers around a man and woman who are in a relationship, and a demon that's been haunting the woman ever since her early teens. Neither of their actions made much sense, and the boyfriend's incredibly stupid decisions came back to bite him in the end. I'm sorry, but if I'm repeatedly getting harassed by a supernatural being, I'M EITHER GOING TO FIND SOMEONE TO MAKE IT STOP OR TRY TO ESCAPE IT. I'M NOT GOING TO TAUNT THE DEMON FURTHER, MAKING IT MORE AND MORE UPSET. AND I SURE AS HELL AM NOT GOING TO BURN A CROSS TO PROVE MY POINT (you'll understand this once you see it).

There were times when I jumped, but even more times that I laughed. It wasn't the scariest thing ever, but in my opinion it was worth $7.

I know I shouldn't be promoting illegal pirating of music...but I have recently discovered the leviathan that is www.MzHipHop.com . They have songs that haven't even been released yet, and a lot of them are GREAT! We've all had the same songs playing in iTunes for over a month and thought, "I need to download some new songs." This website comes out with new songs every week! Some that I recommend giving a listen to are:

TMZ just posted this photo from the Chris Brown beating. Jesus Chris, what could she have possibly done?! All this over a text message that YOU received from a girl? We've got to be missing a lot of the story. But he's completely screwed himself over now. He's lost all of his major sponsorship already, and I expect his popularity to start to decline. Soon Britney Spears will be doing better than he is! Shame on you, Chris. Never expected you to be a wife beater.

(Okay, this isn't exactly Atlanta in a February, but it should be pretty damn close!)

So, spring break is only 2 days away...and after a much needed break from school. After spending at least 5-6 hours a week dealing with fruit flies, I can't wait! I'm leaving on Saturday to head to ATL and coming back the following Saturday. Never been there before and looking forward to it. While I'm there, I'm planning on going to a Ne-Yo/Musiq/Jazmine Sullivan concert, the Coca-Cola Factory, Underground Atlanta, an aquarium, and a CHEESECAKE FACTORY!

The one thing I wanted to do for spring break is escape from the Michigan weather, this snow that happens 4 months out of the year--AKA my entire life! Looking at the weather reports, it seems like it will only be in the 50s and 60s the entire time I'm there. WACK! Guess I won't be swimming or workin on my light-skin tan.

Seeing as I'm flying down there, I spent days wondering how to get around. We're too young to get a rental car (plus that's too much money anyways), and we don't anyone there with cars. Then the thought of a bipolar girl cussing out an elderly lady made me think: we can take the MARTA! The rail line goes all over the city, and a stop is across the street from our hotel! No doubt we'll be riding it everyday and saying "YOU DAT SAME NIGGA THAT RAPED ME! THE SAME NIGGA FROM GLENWOOD!" every time we get on...

I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures and post my experiences while I'm there! If you have any recommendations of activites to do, let me know.
